Deer Valley Resident Goes Above and Beyond Being a Baseball Coach for the Arizona C.L.A.S.H.
Justin Hesse, Co -Executive Director of the Arizona C.L.A.S.H. (Character, Leadership, Attitude, Stature and Heart) has spent 9 years as a head and assistant coach at the high school level. He has helped sign over 280 student-athletes to scholarships; this includes nine players who have joined the professional ranks.
Hesse’s philosophy on baseball and youth sports is simple, “To develop the athlete to the best of his ability; to expose him to the most opportunities and to put him again the best competition in the nation”. The Arizona C.L.A.S.H. Program also participates in Community Service at the VA and Children’s Hospital and has helped raised over $250,000 in the past year and a half with C.L.A.S.H. Booster Club.
Hesse first started his coaching career in 2001 for the Arizona C.L.A.S.H. and then continued to help local High Schools in the Valley. He started with Cactus High School in 2003, assisted the program to a 4A Regional Championship. Hesse then moved to Gilbert High School in 2004 where he assisted the program to a 5A State Championship where they placed Runner’s up. Hesse also received 5A Coaching Staff of the Year in 2004.
Hesse graduated from Scottsdale Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration. He also received his Bachelors Degree in Business and Speech Communication from Eastern Michigan University and just recently graduated from the University of Phoenix with his Masters Degree in Business.
Hesse continues to instruct aspiring athletes with the Arizona C.L.A.S.H. College Prep and Scout teams through American Premier Baseball.
